On Oct. 1st, 2012 I left Charlotte, NC on a cross country journey to Portland, OR. I ended up in Champaign, IL and I love it! I'm looking forward to meeting more of my fellow bloggers, photographers, and artist to learn all I can about the creative life. I mostly post photos, videos, and blog entries about my experiences. Recently I have begun geeking out on glitch art and making my own animated gifs. I love feedback, and I feel that creativity flows much more freely in large numbers. TCDTK Episode 15
Welcome to this week’s show you guys! Let me just start off by warning you guys, the audio in this weeks show is a little different from normal. It was too hot to record in the garage and we had to record in an big open room and it is noticeable. You may want to throw on a pair of headphones to listen. The good thing is, now I know this is an issue, I can learn to correct it in the future. So, this weeks episode is just dub and The Kid hanging out in the studio on a sweltering Sunday afternoon discussing the heat. We also are slightly interrupted by a summer thunderstorm and tell a few good lightning and flood stories. We talk a little about our recording projects of course our highlights of the week. Then we get into stress relief and guns. We discuss period movies and actors we don’t really care for. Moving on the television and dumb DVR machines. We talk about how the NFL is making it difficult for fantasy football players by rescheduling the opening game, crazy traffic at the university, and and getting autographs. A few more crazy tractor trailer accidents. Then moving on to our highlights of the week. Dub discovers couchsurfing.org, Andy talks about possibly after effects of his surgery, and The Kid talks cicada killers wars and putting out new antidotes. Finally we round out the ep by talking about how hot it is and possible cooling solutions for the studio.
