On Oct. 1st, 2012 I left Charlotte, NC on a cross country journey to Portland, OR. I ended up in Champaign, IL and I love it! I'm looking forward to meeting more of my fellow bloggers, photographers, and artist to learn all I can about the creative life. I mostly post photos, videos, and blog entries about my experiences. Recently I have begun geeking out on glitch art and making my own animated gifs. I love feedback, and I feel that creativity flows much more freely in large numbers. If you would like to contact me directly for any reason just email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you and happy creating to you all!
And a little macro play for the end of tonight’s spam! #olloclip #macro #camel #ashes #cigarette (Taken with instagram)
What we have here is a basic side-by-side comparison of the olloclip lenses with the built in iPhone camera. (click on photos for description) This thing is pretty amazing! The wide angle has a touch of distortion at the edges, which I actually like. The fisheye does black out the corners, but it’s almost 180 degrees. The macro is just right! I think if you shoot with apps like hipstamatic and instagram the edge distortion and black out won’t even come into play with their native 1x1 crop. I’ve been looking for one of these types of lens kit for iPhone since the 3G and I would totally recommend this little guy to anyone. Best $70 i’ve spent on an accessory in a while. Big thanks and shout out to finchdown for hipping me to this device!
Look at my freaking eye. These extension tubes are crazy.
