On Oct. 1st, 2012 I left Charlotte, NC on a cross country journey to Portland, OR. I ended up in Champaign, IL and I love it! I'm looking forward to meeting more of my fellow bloggers, photographers, and artist to learn all I can about the creative life. I mostly post photos, videos, and blog entries about my experiences. Recently I have begun geeking out on glitch art and making my own animated gifs. I love feedback, and I feel that creativity flows much more freely in large numbers. If you would like to contact me directly for any reason just email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you and happy creating to you all!
Here’s a quick video I cut together of my buddy Matt at the coffee shop. We were testing out the new light and sound set up on for my camera, and I decided to play around a little with the footage. I hope you guys enjoy it!
TCDTK Episode 15
Welcome to this week’s show you guys! Let me just start off by warning you guys, the audio in this weeks show is a little different from normal. It was too hot to record in the garage and we had to record in an big open room and it is noticeable. You may want to throw on a pair of headphones to listen. The good thing is, now I know this is an issue, I can learn to correct it in the future. So, this weeks episode is just dub and The Kid hanging out in the studio on a sweltering Sunday afternoon discussing the heat. We also are slightly interrupted by a summer thunderstorm and tell a few good lightning and flood stories. We talk a little about our recording projects of course our highlights of the week. The song at the end of the podcast this week is Asylum by The Kid’s former band of the same name! As always we hope you enjoy and please feel free to subscribe, rate, and even comment on the show.
Some of my buddies played up at the local coffee shop (Jackson’s Java) and I recorded them to share with the world. So here is Ramblin’ Bill and The Checkered Past with “Georgia on a Fast Train” (by Joe Shaver)
